The first day of the 21 is drawing to a close and for me it has been a refreshing, energizing and humbling experience thus far. Remember just who it is we get to pray to and hear from; the God of the universe who spoke life into existence, and who is filled with mercy, grace, righteousness, justice, and love, and who loves us so much that He sent His Son to give us eternal life and save us through our faith in Him. Be still in awe of Him.
Keep praying and fasting!

This is an open blog for everyone who is entering a 21 day journey of focused and intentional times of prayer STARTING JANUARY 1, 2008. Many people from Northwood Assembly, including Genesis Core Team, 24/7 Leadership Team, LINK Core Team, and others have committed to setting apart 21 days to seek God with all their hearts and strength - to ask God to breath His Spirit into our lives, church, and community and pray for Him to do what only HE can do - the unimaginable!

TIPS FOR YOUR JOURNEY:
1. FAST from food or something else in order to make more focused time for prayer. For more info on fasting, click here.
2. Set aside 3 intentional BREAKS in your day for prayer, worship, and Bible study (ex: morning, lunch, night).
3. MEMORIZE one verse a day and use that verse as a guide in your prayer times.
4. Do something fun & unique each day in your time with God (bike ride, picnic, prayer-drive...)
